About The Blog...

I’ve been reading about “The Singularity” (mostly as purported by Ray Kurzweil) for awhile now.  As a concept it has moved in and out of my primary consciousness a few times.

The first time or two it was merely an entertaining thought or a seemingly valid justification for suspension of disbelief while reading a science fiction story…

More recently this idea has become more a part of how I view the world and the remainder of my time in it.

Watching interviews with and the writings of some of the field’s “luminaries” often finds me disagreeing and feeling a need to express those disagreements.  This blog could be said to be nothing more than an outlet for those disparate rejoinders.
